Sustainability

Ethics & Environment

FRUIT takes responsibility for ensuring that our products are manufactured under fair conditions, with the least possible impact on the environment, regardless of where in the world we/suppliers operate. We carefully select which brands we sell; together with them, sustainable product, material & packaging choices are made. Our printing inks are OEKO-TEX certified. A large local warehouse reduces shipments and environmentally certified carriers are employed. We follow a clear, strict Code of Conduct for the safety, rights, and well-being of all parties. Environmental legislation and other requirements are, of course, followed. Child & forced labor, trafficking, corruption, and extortion in all forms are unacceptable and must be countered, reported & prosecuted. Reporting of misconduct must never lead to reprisals.

Certificate

Most of what we sell has certification or labeling of some kind (see product pages). In cases where certificates are missing, several suppliers still often offer products made from organic & recycled materials. Here is a selection of the world's leading, most trusted certificates and organizations. The list should NOT be associated with FRUIT itself; it only shows which certificates our suppliers have, to help you make well-informed purchasing decisions. Some certificates are tied to individual products, while others are linked to the supplier itself. For complete information about certificates and organizations, as well as certificates issued for individual suppliers, manufacturers, brands, and products, we refer to their respective websites. (Certificate logos are linked.)
